Chilled Banana Salad

Makes 4 servings; 6 ounces each serving

  • 1 medium apple
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


  1. Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Wash and cut apple in half. Core apple with a spoon. Chop to 1-inch pieces. Place in large mixing bowl.
  3. Peel bananas and chop into 1/2 inch pieces. Place in large mixing bowl with apples.
  4. Mix yogurt and 1/4 tsp cinnamon with apples and bananas.
  5. Add the mixture to four small bowls and sprinkle with additional cinnamon to taste.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for up to one hour.
  7. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours
