Baked Beans

Makes 8 servings; 1/2 cup each serving

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans, reduced sodium great northern beans
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 2 T molasses
  • ½ cup low-sodium ketchup
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 T yellow mustard or 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup apple juice


Preheat oven to 350°F.

  1. Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Drain and rinse beans.
  3. Spray an 8 x 8 square baking dish with vegetable oil cooking spray.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine beans, molasses, ketchup, vinegar, mustard, and apple juice. Pour into baking dish. Bake for 50 minutes.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
