Strawberry Salsa

Makes 6 servings; 1/4 cup each serving

INGREDIENTS


 

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries (about 1 pint, 15-17 strawberries)
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro, fresh
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup onion

 

DIRECTIONS


  1. Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Wash strawberries, remove stem and cut into small pieces.
  3. Wash jalapeño pepper and cut into small pieces.
  4. Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  5. Wash cilantro and chop.
  6. Wash lime. Cut in half, squeeze juice into small bowl.
  7. Peel and cut onion into small pieces.
  8. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  9. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
