1 (12 ounce) bag frozen onion and bell pepper blend
2 ounces cream cheese, low fat
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
12 whole wheat slider buns
1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350˚F.
Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook beef until no longer pink, about 5-10 minutes, drain meat. Set aside.
Cook onions and peppers until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add meat, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to skillet and stir to combine.
Place bottom half of slider buns in 9” x 13” baking dish. Top with meat mixture, then cheese, then slider bun tops. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted. Allow to cool. Serve.
