INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups old fashioned or rolled oats
- 3 cups low-fat milk
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Ground cinnamon (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
- Add oats and milk to a small to medium sauce pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer, about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Stir in pumpkin, honey, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Remove from heat and continue to stir until all ingredients are distributed evenly.
- Garnish each serving with cinnamon.
- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
