INGREDIENTS
- 2 large turnips
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
- Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and coat with vegetable oil cooking spray or vegetable oil.
- Wash turnips. Cut ends off and peel turnips, then cut into ½- to ¾-inch pieces. Add turnip pieces to a large plastic storage bag or a mixing bowl.
- Add oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Shake the bag until the pieces are coated with oil and spices.
- Place the turnips in a single layer on the baking pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes, turning once after 15 minutes.
- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
