Canned Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS


  • 4 (15 ounce) cans whole potatoes
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS


  1. Wash your hands well with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Drain and rinse potatoes.
  3. Add the potatoes to a medium pot. Pour in milk. Bring the mixture to a simmer and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes stirring often. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes in the pot until desired consistency. 
  4. Refrigerate any leftovers within 2 hours.
