Being Active

Being Active is an important part of living a happy, healthy life. Here, you will find fun and easy videos to follow to be active wherever works best for you. Encourage the whole family to join in and get moving together!

A great goal is to be active 150 minutes a week, or 30 minutes a day, five days a week. This can be all at once or split up throughout the day. Even 5 or 10 minutes a day is a great start.

Being active should increase your heart rate so that you notice yourself breathing deeper. A good test is if your breathing makes singing or carrying on a conversation difficult. That means your heart rate is up!
